15 Years Of WWNBB
I PLASTIC PALMS sono una band garage punk italo-americana di base a Torino. Il progetto è nato nel 2020 grazie alla cantante e chitarrista di doppia nazionalità Clarissa Ghelli (USA/Italia), che ha iniziato a scrivere canzoni e a registrarle con il compagno e bassista Daniel Rineer (USA) nel loro studio casalingo improvvisato. Il lirismo grintoso e l'approccio sfrontato
all'arrangiamento delle canzoni attirano l'attenzione dell'amico Marcello, Enea Newman (USA/Italia), che si unisce alla band come chitarra solista. Successivamente entra in formazione anche Sam Vickers (UK) alla batteria.
Nel 2023 pubblicano l'album This Is Fun per la label WWNBB Collective. La band è recentemente tornata da Austin, in Texas, dove si è esibita in vari showcase ufficiali del SXSW e a feste ed eventi correlati al festival. Il 17 maggio 2024 è atteso il loro nuovo EP, Flip Haus

THE IAN FAYS are a Northern Californian indie pop-rock group comprised of
identical twin sisters, Lizzie and Sara. The Fays released their first album, The
Damon Lessons, in October of 2003. In the years to follow, the twins toured the US and Europe multiple times after their subsequent releases, Dylan's Lost Days and Jensen's Camera. On Halloween 2013, in celebration of their 10 year anniversary as a band, The Ian Fays released The Most Spectacular Party, and again toured extensively before taking a hiatus to foster a new generation of little Fays. On October 31st, 2023, for their 20 year anniversary as a band, The Ian Fays released the title-track single from their latest album, Viola; recorded at Foghorn Sounds in El Granada, CA -- and released on February 16th, 2024.
Viola is the 5th LP from the twins and offers more of their trademark glass-half-full reflections on life, loss, and love. On Viola, the band delivers tunes you are inclined to sway and smile to - replete with references to karaoke, Las Vegas, holidays, and haunted stuff - all the while addressing the hard knocks of life, purple cocktail

Quando si mettono ai giradischi rispolverano vecchi vinili di musica funky e soul, classici degli anni Ottanta e pezzi da Novanta. Le loro selezioni vertono su un totale eclettismo e propongono un ricchissimo mix di ascolti.
