Bearbones, Lay Low / Gaute Granli & Gabriela Gonzales / Horacio Pollard / Damn Brain

DOMENICA 29 SETTEMBRE
🔹 bear bones, lay low (solo, psychedelic electronics)
Venezuelan-born, Brussels-based sound dweller Ernesto González Rondón has been making the rounds for the better part of the past two decades, using an assortment of electronic implements to evoke visions of his unfolding personal universe. Analog and digital elements produce repetitive rhythms and melodies wrapped in dissonant noises that invite both solemn listening and ecstatic dancing, where the archaic meets the futuristic and the earthly meets the cosmic.
🔹 gaute granli & gabriela gonzalez (duo, experimental guitar/voice with live visuals)
Over the past two years, Gaute and Gabriela have worked on merging their respective artistic realms into a singular psychedelic audio-visual performance. Using an improvisational approach to live music and video, they strive to create an experience that eludes the senses, where image and sound coalesce, reacting to each other in an attempt to merge the two into a single multisensory output. Gaute's swerving, unpredictable use of guitar, electronics and vocals are visually transliterated by Gabriela's real-time video compositions, the one influencing the other in subtle, disquieting and ultimately inextricable ways.
🔹 horacio pollard (solo, noise and demented beats)
Horacio Pollard is the electronic project of the Anglo-Argentine Horacio Michel Tomatis Barnett, active since 2002. A self-taught sound creeper, he manipulates drum machines, samplers, synthesizers and microphones to create a cacophonous universe imbued with noise, glitch, idm and industrial music. His latest release Door Sweep Bristle length (2023) is an almost danceable assault to the senses, alternating between prankish baitings and nightmarish visions.
