ELECTRO LIVE PERFORMANCE
"Gods in the Womb" is the result of a long period of experimentation, where meticulous attention to detail has guided HOt DUst along his creative journey in the creation of his latest album.
Imagine a supernova vibrating through dark, rounded tones, and blend it with personal and metaphorical transpositions. By doing so, you will most likely visualize the essence of this album.
The image of the unicorn/pegasus fetus on the album cover and the title come from José Molina's wonderful artwork, "Gods in the Womb."
"Grey Skies" opens up the album and guides the listener into a world densely populated by archetypes. Published on June 14th, 2019, the intense music video sequence for "Grey Skies" saw the collaboration of Matteo Bittante and Shake Plastic Dreamer.
HOt DUst then completed the album towards the end of 2019 and immediately embarked on the research process for the live performance of the record, which propelled him into a long solitary journey of exploration.
Between 2020 and 2022, HOt DUst fully committed to translating his studio album into a full-blown, immersive live experience.
He has now perfected his new live setup, which is constantly evolving. In addition to the guitar, it incorporates a powerful, immediate, and complete sound through the simultaneous live use of hand drums, synthesizers, samplers, effects, and vocals, even without sequencers or loops.
The new live set is all ready to be performed, with the contribution of nine chapters of 3D animated videos complementing HOt DUst's live performances.
Audiences will be gently elevated into a parallel imaginary world where they can fully appreciate the experience.

BIO
HOt DUst is the new pseudonym of Christian Pescosta, aka Chris Costa.
In the last 20 years, he has played thousands of concerts, conducted music research, and recorded multiple albums with various original projects under the names of Chris Costa, Mood Filter (UK), Dirty Soul, Capsicum Tree, and others.
He has toured as backing vocalist/multi-instrumentalist with Italian pop stars Malika Ayane, Cesare Cremonini and Eros Ramazzotti (“Perfetto World tour” 2015-2016).
He has written and produced for artists and films, including "Mars" by Malika Ayane, the soundtrack for the film "Italiano medio" by Maccio Capatonda, and the theme for the short film "Lola" by Francesca Tasini.
In 2022, the album "Gods in the womb" was released, which is also available on vinyl, under his new moniker A.k.A. Hot Dust. The album is the outcome of his electronic experimentation in song format.
Chris has perfected his new live setup, which is constantly evolving. In addition to the guitar, it incorporates a powerful, immediate, and complete sound through the simultaneous live use of hand drums, synthesizers, samplers, effects, and vocals, even without sequencers or loops.
He’s now mostly performing live in solo and producing music in his upgraded vintage analog and digital home studio in Milan.
