Un club ed un dj devono sempre saper intercettare e precedere ogni novità, devono “saper cambiare prima di essere costretti a farlo” (Jack Welch Jr.). Caratteristiche si addicono alla perfezione all’Amnesia Milano, che quest’anno festeggia la sua 21esima stagione e a Gordo, in console sabato settembre all’Amnesia insieme ad Alex Rubia.
Nato in Guatemala e trasferitosi sin da bambino negli Stati Uniti, all’anagrafe Diamanté Anthony Blackmon, Gordo è in una sua nuova fase artistica, dopo aver utilizzato per anni il moniker Carnage. Numero 25 nella Top 100 DJs Poll di DJ Mag, Gordo ha collaborato in qualità di produttore all’ultimo album di Drake “Honestly Nevermind": la sua performance all’ ultimo festival Coachella è stata tra le più acclamate, il suo ultimo brano “Parcera”, realizzato insieme a Maluma, un’indiscussa hit. Gordo è attivissimo anche sul fronte solidale: nella natia Guatelama ha interamente finanziato l’apertura di due scuole per dare alle future generazioni l’opportunità di istruirsi.
Alex Rubia è uno dei dj e producer milanesi che in questa e nella passata stagione si è guadagnato con pieno merito un proprio ruolo all’Amnesia Milano, club sempre attento ai talenti emergenti se non già emersi.

These characteristics perfectly suit Amnesia Milano, celebrating its 21st season this year, and Gordo, who will be in Amnesia dj booth on September 2023, Saturday 30th together with Alex Rubia.
Born in Guatemala and moved to the United States as a child, legally known as Diamanté Anthony Blackmon, Gordo is in a new artistic phase, after using the moniker Carnage for years. Ranked 25th in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs Poll, Gordo has collaborated as a producer on Drake's latest album "Honestly Nevermind": his performance at the last Coachella festival was among the most acclaimed, and his latest track "Parcera," created in collaboration with Maluma, is an undisputed hit. Gordo is also very active on the charity front: in his native Guatemala, he fully financed the opening of two schools to give future generations the opportunity to educate themselves.
Alex Rubia is one of the djs and producers who has rightfully earned his own role at Amnesia Milano in this and the past season, a club always paying attention to emerging talents if not already emerged.
