Paolo Baldini DubFiles ritorna al Teatro Miela per presentare il suo il nuovo album e sarà una serata infuocata dalle forti vibrazioni grazie anche al fedele supporto del Rockers Dub Master Sound System.
“In The Shell” è il terzo album solista del produttore italiano ed esce a ben otto anni di distanza da “At Song Embassy, Papine, Kingston 6”, disco/documentario realizzato in Giamaica nel 2015. Nel periodo intercorso, Baldini è stato impegnato in un’intensa tournée che lo ha portato ad esibirsi in tutta Europa, Stati Uniti e America Latina e ha lavorato come produttore per artisti come Mellow Mood, L.A.B., Forelock, Noiseshaper, Dubblestandart, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Jovanotti, Vasco Brondi e storiche etichette della reggae music quali Pressure Sounds ed Echo Beach.
Elemento comune a tutte le tracce del disco è l'utilizzo di una serie di suoni e campionamenti di matrice etnica, registrati ed archiviati dallo stesso Paolo Baldini nel corso dei suoi numerosi viaggi in Africa e sui quali è stato poi svolto un lavoro di produzione e post produzione elettronica (capisaldi dell’estetica di Baldini).
Paolo Baldini è nato a Pordenone, nel 1975. Con la sua prima band, i B.R. Stylers, si è distinto nel panorama reggae italiano grazie al massiccio utilizzo dell'elettronica e di sonorità di ispirazione britannica che sono rimaste a lungo una delle sue caratteristiche distintive. Successivamente, Baldini è entrato a far parte della più longeva band reggae italiana, gli Africa Unite, di cui ha coprodotto due album ("Controlli" e “Rootz").
Nel 2014 Baldini ha debuttato con il suo progetto solista "Paolo Baldini DubFiles".

Paolo Baldini DubFiles returns to Teatro Miela to present his new album, promising an electrifying evening fueled by strong vibrations, also thanks to the faithful support of the Rockers Dub Master Sound System.
"In The Shell" is the third solo album by the Italian producer, released eight years after "At Song Embassy, Papine, Kingston 6", a record/documentary made in Jamaica in 2015. During this period, Baldini has been involved in an intense tour that has taken him to perform throughout Europe, the United States, and Latin America. He has also worked as a producer for artists such as Mellow Mood, L.A.B., Forelock, Noiseshaper, Dubblestandart, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Jovanotti, Vasco Brondi, and historic reggae music labels like Pressure Sounds and Echo Beach.
A common element in all the tracks of the album is the use of a series of sounds and samples of ethnic origin, recorded and archived by Paolo Baldini himself during his numerous trips to Africa, and on which a work of production and electronic post-production has been carried out (cornerstones of Baldini's aesthetic).
Paolo Baldini was born in Pordenone in 1975. With his first band, B.R. Stylers, he distinguished himself in the Italian reggae scene thanks to the extensive use of electronics and sounds inspired by the British scene, which remained one of his distinctive features for a long time. Subsequently, Baldini joined the longest-standing Italian reggae band, Africa Unite, of which he co-produced two albums ("Controlli" and "Rootz").
In 2014, Baldini made his debut with his solo project "Paolo Baldini DubFiles".
