Togolese rapper and political activist Yao Bobby joins Swiss
noisemaker Simon Grab in an unmissable hi-NRG power duo. An intense
sound battle arises from Bobby's explosive Ewe and French bars, fired
into the bubbling carpet of fried bass pulsations that Grab summons
from his analogue feedback electronics. While the lyricism addresses
the aftermath of West-colonialism and its persistent grip on the
continent, a rogue-dub attitude frames the ever-evolving sonic
revolutions. The result is an authentic expression of experimental
hip-hop, free-form rap, and rhythmic noise.
