Gli Xathrites sono un gruppo black metal iracheno fondato nel 2005 da Alex Basher e Saqer Vashkigalix.
Il progetto inizialmente suonava ''Pure Black Metal'' e successivamente ha cambiato il genere in Depressive Black Metal.

-Atmospheric/Depressive Black Metal Band-
Si tratta di una "one man band" proveniente dalla città di Tbilisi, in Georgia. Genere - Atmospheric/Depressive/Melancholic/Ambient Black Metal.
Il fondatore degli askeesi è anche batterista della band Alt.Metal georgiana DEADSEC.
